Strengthlog Progressive Overload Program
Strengthlog is actually a progressive overload app for strength training.
What is progressive overload and why is it important?
Progressive overload is a simple concept where you slowly increase your weights or reps overtime to continue to put stress on your muscles so they adapt.
The strengthlog program has you starting on your sets on 6 reps for each exercise.
When you complete 6 reps the app will automatically suggest 7 reps next time.
When you complete 7 reps the app will automatically suggest 8 reps next time.
when you have completed 8 reps. The weight is increased and the reps drop back down to 6 to repeat the process.
Your muscles would now have adapted to the increase workload.
You can adjust the rep ranges so you can work in anything from 1 - 30 reps. All though we do not advise this.
Any exercise has options at the bottom where you can adjust the amount of sets you do and the start and end reps the app will use.
